Brings back memories of my apprenticeship days with a Mazda Dealer in Hampshire( now a block of flats) Some of these models were around whe I was with them as I left just as the GD 626's were introduced. Still, cant beat the BD 323's and the GC 626's, those were the days. I would like to get hold of a B2000,not a B2200, the B2200'S were to slow, but the B2000 with the FE engine was fun, and so different to the B1800. On a road test once, my supervisor deceided to carry out a top speed test in a customers RX7 after a service. From a standing start we reached 110mph before the N/S electric window dropped in the channel by an inch, enough to cause a parachute affect and slowed the car right down. Needless to say I was not set a good example by my supervisor, but he certainly frightened the hell out of me.
