Hi, i'm Norwegian ( sadly ) and my car is a Daihatsu Charmant 1600 LC that i bought for around 600 USD ( 3500NOK ). The drivetrain seems to be in great shape for the age, only problem is a cracked windshield and some wiring i'm working on.
Hi, I am in Australia and have had many of the old Mitsubishi Colt fastback including SS This is Ke43 Ke44 and 4g41 motor as a big bore from the forklift Have had 12a rotaries, 4g32 motor and various other fitted. Colt existed in Australia in 1966 - 1971 A81 A82 models I have lots of parts Still have 3 cars left , including a rally car that competed in one round Australia rally
Just bought a 69 corona rt40 two door 4 speed. Looking to get it running and maybe improving the suspension and adding lsd. Maybe headers/exhaust and carb upgrade? Are these upgrades readily available for the original motor? Any lsd that "bolt on"?

Hi all, I have rescued the last listed Honda Quintet dx man trans in the UK. The only other known UK Quintet is a dx semi auto, both are facelift models/gen 2 1982-1983/4. She has had some very caring owners, unfortunately the last owner could not have cared less. This is now my 6th Quintet :-D So I know them pretty well, they are a good strong solid car with an almost bulletproof EL 1600cc motor, when hunting through here I found her with her old reg no. MOT 776Y she is white, well WAS white. One owner decided to destroy her by painting her mat black, not looking after her in any shape or form, shaving the rear doors, losing parts, chucking the original rims, sealing the rear doors, wrecking the exhaust, throwing a spoiler from a Rover 45 on the tailgate, it looks like they we’re prepping her for banger racing!!!! I am so sad I didn’t get to her in time to save her from the “abuse” inflicted on her. I won’t post a pic of her as she is now, it’s too depressing! However I am looking to do a full restoration and upgrade her to the top spec model, I am doing bit by bit, limited budget, but I am also keeping a photographic record of things before during and after. I am looking for some parts. Choke cable, air filter center bolt, air filter-carb seal/rubber gasket, heated rear screen, bonnet depending on condition, etc, etc....... If anyone has anything Honda/Rover Quint/Quintet 80-86 please pm me. If anyone is inquisitive to know more about this rare breed you are possibly looking at the right person, in uk spec I should be able to answer ANY questions. the suspension was taken from the gen 1 1.6 Honda Prelude, the brakes were also Prelude, the EL engine was fitted to prelude/Accord up to 82, the EL 1602cc high compression units were also fitted to Quintets from 80- at least 83/84 the other engine that was fitted to the Quintets were also 1602cc but they are an EP engine and develop an extra 10bhp. The Australian version was sold to Rover, rebadged as a Rover Quintet and sold from 83-85/86. In Japan it was called a Honda Quint, in Europe it was a Honda Quintet and they were never made for or sold to America, they only had Civic’s, Prelude’s and Accord’s in the early 80’s. I love this model very much. I get carried away and talk too much, so I am going to stop now! Thanks for your time, Best wishes; STU
