Cressida Estate or Corona for me I think please, both good-looking cars I reckon. Although back in the late ‘80s I would very much have liked a Celica 1600ST (2dr more attractive than hatchback I think) and in 1989 I test drove and nearly bought a Corolla SR Coupe.
Seeing that Starlet interior brings back happy memories of the 5dr I had, brilliant little car.
I know exactly where a couple of those photos were taken, oddly nowhere hear Toyota GB’s patch. Corona is in Finchingfield, Essex where a lot of Ford publicity shots were taken over the years, and the Crown is outside the Willis Faber building in Ipswich.
Gotta love the Starlets:-) I've got this brochure in my collection. On the subject of Crowns, there's a barn next to where I store my Triumph 2000 and I'm lead to believe it is full of old Crowns. Not sure of how many, but I only moved there last week so will try n find out more n get pics.
