I own a 1993 Mazda 121, which I brought over to the UK from Australia five years ago. Mechanically it is in top form - it has done 200,000km, but my husband, who is a car enthusiast, has done most of the maintenance on it and it is a much loved little car. Mazda 121s seem to be very rare in the UK.
We are now going home to Australia, and were going to take the car back, but some horrid yob kicked in the side panels on one side. Because the car is so old the insurance company would not fix it, so we had it fixed as best we could without spending huge amounts on it. This has made no difference to it mechanicaly, but it is now looking a little battle scarred. We are faced with the dilemma of whether or not to take it back to Australia and run the risk of not being able to register it there without spending a lot of money on it.
Is there a Mazda lover in the UK who might be interested in buying this little car and either giving it a good home, or using it for spare parts?
I am in Hedon, East Riding, Yorkshire (about 1/2 hour east of Hull). No, I haven't sold the car yet (16 April) . yes, it does look like the ones in the photos, only it's purple. If you are interested, could you call me at 01482 463326?
