That's not a scrap yard, that's a bloody dumping ground! It's amazing to see the decay time brings on. I was slightly worried I'd see my old RX3 in there as it was sold to someone in Ireland. Presumably when you take a UK car to RoI it is issued a new registration number?
photography at most sites like this is unwanted due to the environment stormtroopers, the cost of site rehabilation by a government body after the company has ben bankrupted conforming to modern codes of practise are hugh.
this is an issue world wide and the steptoe and son operators are becoming exstinct.
the storage of material that has a value is frowned upon by the university educated fools-the only value they need to see is the shreading and reprosesing.of raw material. look at this site.they charge $2 entry-and you remove parts yourself.after the cars stripped it goes over the fence for reprosesing.this company is a group of many.

What a fantastic place....would love a roam about in there. There is a place like this near me, and I'm sure there may be some j-tin in there, I must try and get some photos if I can avoid the prospect of alsation/bramble/clay ditch death. There was also an old scrap yard on the way to Plymouth, near a place called Wrangaton. Was full of old stuff and again I'm sure there were some older Japanese cars there.... I only went there once and have been unable to find it since......Google Earth is no use, I guess it must have been cleared.
"You should see the damage Bronze eh....you listening Bronze.....?"
