Re filming in the Yorkshire Dales, I was due to provide police cover at a Shogun ad shoot in Upper Wharfedale in the early 80's, but I got cancelled at the last minute due to other more pressing duties, so it's possible. There was a lot of filming in the Dales in the 80's. Jag did an xjs shoot up near Reeth for the American market, it had to drive through a ford (water splash, not car) and stalled everytime, so in the end they filmed in going in, then, having got the engine running again, reversed in back, and filmed it going away!!
A bargain! I you guys are not buying this, never ever lament again that there has no Tredia survived!
I've spoken to the owners, I can't go down and have a look at it in the day as they are at work, and I can't do evenings as i'm on 12 hour nights at the mo, so I'm sending them a cheque for it in the morning, and they are happy to store it for a couple of weeks til I can get over and collect it.
No idea about the Charmant, it ended early. Hope it went to Mrbol and he is keeping it firmly under his hat, but I suspect it will be going sideways into a wall in the near future.
The gold 323 would indeed be a nice companion to that lot, and the Charmant come to think of it. Also, a Subaru Leone MK2, got to be the 1600 though. Can't think of anything for Suzuki and Isuzu to offer though, unless we start including weird import-only things.
