Hi!

A very famous actor and congenial comedian from Austria, Roland Düringer http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_D%C3%BCringer is selling his japanese car collection and some other cars to donate the money to a man in a wheelchair to have his car converted after a motorcycle-accident.

Here is the collection:

That's a pretty unusual selection. The yellow Corolla Liftback looks like one we got on here a few months back.

I don't think any of these are in danger of being scrapped, anyway!

Mr. Düringer ist known as a car-freak, he had a huge collection of US-cars and Hotrods, suddenly he sold all of them and after that he got this japanese car collection because his parents lived near a Datsun-dealer when he was a kid. Now he is selling nearly everything to convert the car of this disabled man. He will only keep three (!) Datsun 240Z and a Datsun Violet 160J SSS Coupe, everything else has to go.

I´ll try to get the Sapporo, let´s see how expensive it will get.

How much does it cost to make a "wheelchair friendly" car in Austria?? I would think selling 2 cars off that list would raise enough money, or even just 1 if they go for high price due to the famous owner.

The special equipped car for this disabled guy costs 55.000 Euro, according to the infos in the news. Don´t know what car he needs and how special the modifications have to be.

The first three auctions are over now!

The Crown went for 3850 Euro (quite low for such a phantastic car), the VW Beetle was sold for 3850 too (to much for this piece of **** ::)

) and the Nissan Figaro went up to 9100 Euro!

The Honda S800 Coupe will end on next sunday, is already up to 7250 Euro!

Hirstman, don´t be overmodest.

For the Galant and the Charmant you would easily get more than 1500 each, the others will make a couple of 100 Euros each, provided that they were LHD.
