19-07-2009. Japan Classic Sunday - The Netherlands
« Thread Started on Mar 17, 2009, 11:18pm »

A little bit later then last year, but there's a date set for this years Japan Classic Sunday!

This time it's more to the south of the Netherlands (even closer to the ring!!)

Date: 19-07-2009
location: Café Restaurant De Koksehoeve, Koksedijk 25, 5421 ZB Gemert (www.koksehoeve.nl)

Just like last year, it's a combination of 'standing on a field and talk' and 'drive a tour in the area'

Starts: 10:00
ends: 17:30

I want to show you guys lot's of pics from last year, but my webhost is down atm, so I can't give you any :(

In 2009 there are some things to celebrate:

· 25 Year Toyota MR2
· 25 Year FWD Japanese cars
· 30 Year Toyota Tercel.
· 30 Year Toyota Supra.
· 30 Year Mazda RX-7.
· 20 Year Mazda MX-5
· 20 Year Lexus.

It's a real relaxed meet (Jammzr came over last year, and he enjoyed it very much!)
Sadly it's only a 1 day meet, but i'm sure we can arrange something to do on the day before if you guys decide to come over a day early! ;D

Was´nt the first Toyota Tercel FWD? It came 1978, if I´m not mistaken and was the first FWD-car from Toyota and maybe the first FWD-car in Japan.

Wow, so the first FWD-car from Japan was from 1966? :o I think your chairman has to take some extra hours learning the japanese car history. ;)

Thanks for giving us support hours, Ratdat and hongkongphooey!

Cool, I would love to see your Corona! If I have a worthy car and if it works, I'll be there... fingers crossed.

I'll sure try to get there.
Gemert (Bakel) is only a half hour drive for me.

The car is packed, the alarm is set and we're headed to Antwerp in the rain in the morning!
See you there guys. Please come and say "hello, I'm xxx from OJC Forum". Andrea and I (Ferg) are really looking forward to this :)
